Do I need a mortgage broker when I can deal with lenders direct?

The answer is NO, if you know what you want amongst the 8.000 mortgages in the market,  where to get it and handle everything yourself.  Some lenders do not advertise and use brokers as a cost efficient way to offer better rates and more competitive mortgages. For a lot of people the advice and guidance of a knowledgeable broker could save you time and money.
